Azasite Is Wrong

If you don't mind dropping a hot match into your eye, then go ahead and use azasite. In my opinion there is something terribly wrong with a cure that is worse than the original problem itself.What's the matter with people? Who, in their right mind would purposefully put this liquid fire in their eyes? I tried it once and had to rush back to the eye doctor because I was sure I had damaged myself. Well, somebody is lying, and I don't think it's my doctor. According to azasite's websites, less than 1% of folks in studies complained about burning. Ha! When I went back to my specialist the first thing out of his mouth was this is very common and that's what his patients tell him all the time. Don't think the doctor is lying here - but sure think the makers of azasite are, especially when I noted on the internet that this is a new drug (2007) and they had to shell out 19 million initially and then another 20 million just to get this off the ground. They also offered 20% in sales in order to get it off the ground. Shameful! God only knows that kind of damage azasite is doing to our precious eyes. Of coures, it's damn near brand new - 2007, so of course, not enough time to add up the casualties yet.I suspect this discussion will be eliminated very soon - as soon as azasite discovers it. With that kind of money, comes power.

On 4/6/10 I went to the Dr. because I broke my glasses and needed to get new one's during his exam he said I had dry eye and blepharitis. None of which I had ever been diagnosed with in the past , nor was I having any problems with any of the syptoms. I have never used eye drops or had any eye compliants with these problems, Long story short he administered the Azasite and within 24 hrs I was in such pain tht I couldn't stand it 3 months later and 3 different Drs and I have cornea erosin and ornea cuts on both eyes and no of the Drrs will admit that a problem that I didn't have prior to the azasite was caused by the drug. Money sure does shut mouths and hurt patients. This is only a 10th of all that has haooened with this drug to me..

I too had and am still having rterrible problems because of this drug I actually posted the comment below yours. Have you found any help because I haven't and my life has stopped because of the pain and vocusing problems since July of last year. Please respond.

I have pink eye and have been given these eye drops and they are the worst thing EVER! I have a ton of piercings and tattoos, so pain isn't something strange to me, but these eye drops take pain to a whole new level. My parents thought I was joking, but as soon as the liquid touches my eye, pain surges. It feels like my whole eyeball is on fire, and God forbid I tear up. As soon as I start tearing, the pain increases. I literally have to walk around with my eye closed tight for a minute because it hurts to even move my eyeball around yet alone open them. I would much rather have pink eye then have to take anymore of this stuff.
