Armour Thyroid Replacement Hormone

How is Armour Thyroid Replacement Hormone listed for side effects? I have taken it for years and have stacked on the lbs. I am just learning it may be the Thyroid medication that may be the issue. I take two strengths and alternate them daily. 90 one day and 120 the next, then back to 90 etc.... I am told by my dietitian I do not eat enough. I am also diabetic so sugar is eaten but rarely. I am a carb eater though. My sugars are almost in the normal range. So why all this weight gain? I understand other factors are involved here. But I wonder if the Thyroid is one of those factors?

The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, hair loss, mood changes, and weight changes.

Some people do gain weight taking this medication. What do you take for your diabetes?
