After being on this med for 7 years, I was told by my cardiologist to stop taking it. Now I am having various and odd ailments and wonder if they could be related to stopping this medication?

Hello, Flea! How are you?

Yes, they could be related to stopping it. Your body gets used to anything you ingest regularly for a long period of time and abruptly stopping can cause mild withdrawal symptoms.

Some that are listed for this medication, by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, elevated heart rate, elevated blood pressure and body aches/pains.

Are you on any other medications?
