MY HUSBAND AND I BOTH SUFFER FROM ARTHERITIS IN OUR BACK AND HIPS..ITS SO PAINFUL ITS HARD TO WALK AT TIMES..HIS DOC TOOK HIM OFF ANTI INFLAMATORYS AND I HAVENT GOT A PRESCRIPTION OR A DOCTOR TO GET ANY.. CAN YOU BUY ANYTHING OVER THE COUNTER THAT YOU CAN TAKE..THAT IS MORE THAN TWO HUNDRED MILS? SEEMS THAT JUST DOESNT WORK FOR US..AND MOST THINGS SAY..ONLY TAKE ONE PER DAY?

Have you tried any of the OTC medications to see if they help at their available dosages?

Not every medication requires 500mgs to help with pain and you may find that something in a lower dose, such as Naproxen (Aleve) may help quite a bit.

But before taking anything, you do need to find a new doctor and make sure that it is safe for you to do so.
