My daughter is 3 yrs old and has a bad ear infection. They actually had to scrape her ear canal down even around ear drum to be able to see behind it and they also gave her 200 mg of amoxicillin to take. She takes 8. 5 mls 2 times a day. She weighs 41.5 lbs. I just think it seems like a lot for her age. Please let me know if it's ok. She has really good dr. I usually don't question his treatment but it just seems like too much. Help.

Hello, Katie! How is she feeling?

I'm sorry, but I am not quite understanding you on the dose she is taking each day. Can you please post back and clarify? Did you mean she's taking 8.5mls twice a day?

This medication may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
