Amneal Oxycodone Not Effective

The new oxycodone is a worthless knock off generic of a generic drug. CVS is pushing it.
Disgusting practice to see worthless drugs pushed on seriously patients in pain.
I'm informing all to Avoid CVS and this company getting rich on the pain of others. Criminal.

According to NIH, these are the following inactive ingredients reportedly found in Amneal's Oxycodone tablets:

Corn Starch
Lactose Monohydrate
Microcrystalline Cellulose
Sodium Starch Glycolate Type A Potato
Stearic Acid

*The 10mg tablet contains the addition of D & C Red No. 27
*The 15mg tablet contains the addition of FD & C Blue No. 2
*The 20mg tablet contains the addition of FD & C Red No. 40 + FD & C Blue No. 2 + FD & C Yellow No. 6
*The 30mg tablets contains the addition of FD & C Blue No. 2 + D & C Yellow No. 10

I'm posting this information so patients here can verify and compare the binders/fillers in this manufacturer's version of Oxycodone vs others, in order to better determine which discrepancies might be the cause of its ineffectiveness.

I've also been under the impression (via rumor) that the active ingredients in generic drugs may vary by up to 20% more or less compared to their brand name counterparts (or even other generic versions for that matter). I wouldn't doubt that this may be happening since generics tend to be significantly cheaper; however going through the process of trial and error with different manufacturers is probably the only way to find out what works best.

anneal 15mg. oxycodone just puts me to sleep. it's junk

Kroger is pushing, in place of amneal, a SOP. called AUROBINDO 7.5/325 so they can save 4.00$ a bottle. It does NOTHING! I've had good luck with the Amneal. Kroger also told me that the gov would put them on a list if they were buying large amounts of this manufacturer. Two stores called my pain management Doctor labor day morning and was told they were the same thing. I told him I was ready to go to the hospital!
