I have been using AMNEal Benazepril 20 mg for a long time with very good effect. Noew the pharmacy (Safeway) switched to BENAZEPRIL 20mg made by RANBAXY which I understand manufacture umder filthy conditions. Is there any way I can get the AMNE product instead? The S. pharmacy won't be bothered wiyh requests?

No, Ranbaxy products aren't manufactured under questionable conditions. They are manufactured to the same standards as all other medications that are available in the U.S. There is nothing wrong with it and no reason to be concerned.

Benazepril may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain and hypotension.

I was taking blue pill as you stated and purposely switched to AMNeal (sp?) . originally I had Teva brand which was perfect and boo one makes that. But the white ones are in Walgreens,cvs.
