For many years I have been taking the amlodopine(sp) part of this drug. Lately I have been diagnosed as a diabetic and have added an endocrinologist to my parade of doctors. She recommended to my cardiologist that an ace inhibitor be added. Today is my first day on amlod/Benaz. Thur far, I don't feel any side effects but am worried about all of the side effects that are listed on the accompanying literature. Does anyone have any knowledge and experience with this drug? Has it caused a weight gain, fluid retention, dizziness, etc. ? I would like to hear more about it from a person who is taking this drug. Thank you!
