Alprazolam 0 25mg Methadone I Takeing Having Getting Off Of

I'm taking 180mg of methadone & 0.25 of alprazolam 3times a day I stopped alprazolam with a great deal of discomfort sleepless nights & was at that jumping off place. Is there a safe way to use both of these drugs?

What type of problem were you having while taking both of them?

They can both cause sedation and depression of the central nervous system, but unless they were causing you some problem or symptoms, there'd be no reason to worry. Many people do take such combinations regularly.

The FDA lists both these medications as also carrying the risk of being habit forming and they may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, irritability and constipation.

Did your doctor tell you to stop taking it?

It can be dangerous to stop Xanax cold turkey, because doing so creates the risk of seizures.
