Alevian Duo Side Effects

This medication almost killed me, it gave me diarrhea so severe I ended up in the ER. My doctor gave me antibiotics and wanted me to continue taking Alevian Duo but nothing would stop the diarrhea until I decided to stop taking those awful pills, 24 hours after that I was OK. Months after that my doctor said we should try again and in less than 8 hours after the first pill of Alevian Duo I was feeling awful cramps and had the worse diarrhea. I would never take it again!

Hello, Tummy! How are you doing? I'm very sorry about the experience you had.

Not all medications work well for everyone that tries them, so I have to agree, if it caused you that severe of a problem, you should likely stay away from it.

Have you tried any alternatives?

I am having pain in my right side for the past twe years I even removed my gall bladder yet the pain continues some drs say its IBS Sometimes I get the feeling of bubbles moving in the area What do you think

Hi Tummy, I was recently given that medicine as well and like you I discovered that they caused me severe pain and diarrhea worsening my status.unfortunatly it took a month to realize it wasn't the food, but in fact were the pills. I was then given antibiotics as well but was cut off of the alevianduo. I was told to resume it after 2 weeks but 2 hours later and I got diarrhea with a slight bloated feeling right under the midsection of my waist. My question to you is if you were able to finally overcome the meds or was there something you discovered that works best for you?
