Hi Robert,

Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between amoxicillin clavulanate potassium and the use of alcohol or dairy products. So in that regard you should be fine taking the two together in moderation.

However, it is equally important to know that these types of drugs can effect each person differently, whereas potential side effects may still arise just from using the medication in and of itself.

If you don't know how your body reacts to the combination alcohol and antibiotics, it may be wise to lessen your consumption of it for the duration of your treatment. Sometimes the use of alcohol can increase the drowsiness that is often associated with these medications.

You can learn more about this drug on the page for Amoxicillin + Clavulanate Potassium Details

I hope this helps!
