Afraid To Start Bupropion Sr

I'm getting my perscription in the morning. i am already an agrivated, agressive person. i'm afraid of this getting worse. any advice?

Have you started taking it, yet?

It may not worsen those traits in your, it may actually help them improve, since it is an antidepressant. Those paradoxical effects don't happen to everyone that takes it.

I can only speak from my own experience and tell you that it did not happen to me. I am extraordinarily aggressive and sharp with people.

It may have leveled me out, paradoxically.

I am in the same boat. I picked up my script yesterday and after googling it to death decided I was going to start it. MMD and Anxiety for 21 yrs, plus over weight and a smoker, Most everything I read says give it a try. But the keyword is Most. I wish I would have stopped googling when my mind was set but no I kept going and found a post from someone saying she had blot clots and was living now in hell so I google that and yep.. its a rare side effect. WTH.... Its like my depression forces me to find a 1 and 10000 chance not to take it. I am so angry that I let my fear of meds keep me crippled. Yet I am OK with poisoning myself with smoking and eating. MMD and anxiety has ruined my life, I am 48 and so feed up with being sad and worried and thinking im useless. Most of my friends gave up on me. Even my family are constantly telling me to get on something But each time I try something there is a reason to quite it, a side effect I cant tolerate or fear from reading. IDK how to force my fingers into the bottle 2 x a day and take it. I hate, literally hate how I do not want to keep living this way but refuse to take a risk and maybe have a better life.
