I am curious if there have been some reports about this generic I am prescribed and the pharmacy just recently switched over to these. I know they can vary slightly in the amount and their inactives are different, but this seems very strange. It's not helpful and it gives me a "dull" type of ongoing headache all day long. Have you heard of any negatives regarding Actavis generic xanax? Thank you.

Headaches can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to FDA reports. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, and irritability.

What are the markings on them? Sometimes the manufacturer listed is actually just a licensed distributor. If you can post back and clarify, that would enable me to research more information for you. Thanks!

Been taking Alprazolam 1MG for years for anxiety. I have always taken the blue oval shaped type. Recently switched drug stores and got a differant brand. I got Actavis Brand instead of Sandoz. Actavis seems to have about half the active ingredients as Sandoz. Will not get again. I had withdrawals the first night.

Since being on this brand I have experienced increased anxiety. Doesn't appear to be working at all. Decreased my caffeine consumption thinking that was the problem but still no relief. Next refill will find a different brand. I was on the oval blue 1 mg before I was on the Actavis brand.
