About Oxycontin Without Tylenol

I was taking Percocet 10and I have Hepatitis C my doctor changed it to Oxycontin when I went to get this filled for 30 pills my insurance would not cover it it cost $90 so what other medication narcotic can I ask my doctor for that does not have Tylenol in it? I would appreciate an answer thank you so much.

Wow! I am so sorry, that's horrible. Prices have jumped so horribly this year.

Oxycontin isn't available as a generic, but the regular formulation of Oxycodone is, so you may want to ask your doctor about possibly trying it.

The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

With hep u want to stay away from acetemetphrin!! Changing from pero to oxycontin tho seems extreme. Así dr if he can give u Just oxycodone. Thats like a perc les the tylenol . Oh and also if you choose to stay oncthe oxycontin, it usually Just requires prior auth. Before ins covers it. Once u get it, there good min 1year. Gl
