my 14 yrs daughter was detected with a cyst in her brain (tape worm) last march (2010) . for the past one year she's been undergoing treatment and the last MRI of hers detected that the worm is dead now and there is just a scar left in the brain. now i would like to ask you that for how long should she continue with her medicines (the doc has advised that she should be continue her medicines for almost 1 1/2 yrs) now that 6-7 months are left i would like to know once her medical treatment is over , will she have seizure in future.. though in her initial stage of above disease, she had attacks twice and had todd's palasy too. but by the grace of god she is absolutely doing fine and actively participating in sports activities. medicines that are being given to her is shelcal, zenoza- twice a day.
