Zanidip Side Effects/dry Mouth

I wake up during the night needing to urinate and have a very dry mouth.
The urination is not new but the dry mouth only seems to have stated since I began taking Zanidip,
Is this normal or should I worry about the problem?

Zanidip contains the active ingredient Lercanidipine, it is a calcium channel blocker, commonly used to treat high blood pressure and other cardiac related issues.

And yes, the dry mouth can be a common side effect, along with: headache, dizziness and stomach pain.

It should wear off as your body adjusts to the medication. If it doesn't, or becomes severe, please make sure to consult your doctor.

I was on ibersartan for years then developed dry mouth which is awful. After weeks of moaning to dri stopped the tablet for 4 days. My mouth started to recover slightly but was prescribed lercanidipine after only one tablet my mouth began to dry. Has anyone else had this symptom from lercandipine.

Yes the same thing for me. Was on irbersartan for years then suddenly dry mouth which is terribble at night and carnt sleep cos of it. Stopped taking it but dr not happy. All they do is give me a replacement diuretic that does the sa.e thing. No one listens to me . This has been 9 months at my wits end. The think I'm neurotic but its not their mouth and wo t look for the cause or allergies to any mefs
