I went to go pickup my generic xanax script at a new pharmacy, they charged only 20$ for 90 2mg, so I could not say no to that, the next day I picked it up and the pill was bar shaped with round edges, scorerd to break into .5mg doses like all, excluding dava, are the only imprint is the number 11. It certainly taste like xaxa, as I have used a number of generics, but can not identify this odd, round edge alprazolam pill. Please help

If u type in the pill imprint online, which has always worked for me, u can't just put 11 with no space between the 1's. If u do it will say no results found. Put a space between the 1's (1 1) and it will tell u they are alprazolam 2 mg.

No, the bars with the 11 on them are the new generics. They are... in my opinion, better than the greystones. They're the real deal and they work real good. I've been taking them for the last 2 months... No worries you got good 2 mg xanax bars dude.

How could anyone 'down' my last post in this thread? I gave the perfect solution to unsatisfactory dispensing! Pharmacists when confronted with prescriptions stating 'alprazolam tabs 2mg tds' are obliged to fill with the cheapest generic in stock - my suggestion that you insist the doctor write your Rx form and endorse with a specific brand/make/generic according to quality or to your personal preference - often certain things contain binders and fillers which affect bioavailability and therefore efficacy - is the PERFECT solution to any problems! I would have thought that the majority and quite a number as well would have appreciated that information that a pharmacy is obliged to dispense AS WRITTEN ON PRESCRIPTION therefore 'XANAX' will produce that brand and 'please dispense Greenstone Products alprazolam' will ensure that you are dispensed that excellent (unfortunately the only excellent Anerican generic!) make. It doesn't hurt that Greenstone is majority owned by PFIZER and UPJOHN and that their tablets are almost identical to the branded XANAX (and indeed, their triazolam is in my opinion the same tablet as the famous blue 'UPJOHN 17' HALCION brand 250mcg tablet.)
Make sure that your pharmacist is left in no doubt as to what your doctor wishes you to be dispensed; it might be for quite important clinical reasons, so they MUST follow the instructions on the prescription and dispense the brand or generic which is stated on the form! It should never take longer than a day or so for the pharmacy to receive the desired drug from their wholesalers. As I said, I have insisted on the Roche brand of clonazepam (Rivotril - 'Klonopin' in one country) for years now as the generic does not have the same effect or efficacy.

It seems there are enough posts that confirm this is a store generic pill, try and see how you feel. It is helps than you are fine...if not, ask for another generic pill or go to another pharmacy...they all order different generic pills. Swallowing these pills is the easy part, try getting off them resuming normal life. Talk about HARD!!! I had no idea your body gets so dependent on them...I have to cut my dosage slowly and step down over a period of months. The bars with 'ALP' imprint are what is possibly the best brand in the entire world, ALPLAX by Gador, SA of ARGENTINA.
These are my ANXIOLYTIC of choice. They have to be obtained privately since the Argentinian Pharmacy Act 2010 banned export of all medicines.

They are real and do the same as any other generic. Best I have had was the one bar that said Xanax and a 2 on the back those are real Xanax everything else is generic but all work the same some are stronger to you because they are either extended release or rapid release but when it all boils down it's the benzo that it says it is which is alpro gl.

Enter the website, click on sitemap in the right hand corner at the top.that will open another page.then click on products. that page will open and then scroll to the bottom.you will see the annex 2 milligram bars.click on that and it will show you a picture of the prescription bottle and a picture of both sides of the pill.it also has an option to enlarge.I hope that helps!!

I have ordered pills of xanax, several times and pills that have fake prints could be the strongest xanax ive had and it can be fake depends on the manifacturer ... But the 11s dont hit the hardest n have a weaker taste more like valium.. But its a xanax bar!

If you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE NAME BRAND MEDS, ask your doctor to note that on your prescription. Just know that you will have to pay more for the name brand, and if for some reason your physician does not mark your prescription as "fill only name brand", then you will almost always get the generic brand, even if you ask for the name brand to be filled when you go to the pharmacy. However, you can call around to different pharmacies to see which generic brands they do carry. I myself have noticed that some generic medications work better for me than other generic brands of the same medication. Some pharmacies carry several brands of generic and will allow you to take your pick. I hope this helps.
