Hi, I'm Joey. I've been prescribed Xanax for 7 years now, and I've had all kinds. I had yellow, green, white bars ... then my doctor switched my dose down to 1 mg and I've been on those for the last 4 years. I personally prefer the oblong G3721 Alprazolam, they're a lot better than other kinds that I have been dispensed. It just so happens that the only version my pharmacy carries are G3721. I highly recommend them over the typical bar shaped tablets. The colors don't matter, they're all the same, only thing different is the manufacturer. But you guys be careful out there. God bless everyone, thank you.

Thank you for posting this valuable information, Joey!

The tablet with the G 3721 is manufactured by Greenstone and they list it as containing 1mgs of Alprazolam, which is a generic for Xanax, it is most commonly used to treat anxiety, and nervous disorders.

The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.

It's inactive ingredients are listed as including:

cellulose powdered
corn starch
docusate sodium
lactose
magnesium stearate
silicon dioxide
sodium benzoate
FD&C Blue No. 2

Though they may vary, depending on manufacturer.

NDC code:
59762-3721-1

Is there anything else I can help with?

Better, stronger, not the definition of good in my opinion. Xanax made by Upjohn are the cleanest most effective. Greenstone is the closest Alprazolam to brand. Nice and clean and effective the way they should be. With good reason, I believe upjohn makes them. Most others are not as well made. Make you sloppy, slur your words. GG, very weak, don't work for me. But be careful, they all bite, very addictive. That's for certain a detailed version of my opinion. Wish i was never introduced to Xanax!

I like that, the cleanest Xanax! No doubt some generic makers are filthy, when I lived in Miami there was a big generic company IVAX and the FDA shut them down for gross heath violations

Re: EDDY (# 4)

I do see TEVA bought IVAX but the Miami factory has serious health violations. It's funny many of the Xanax takers here that purchase from anyone don't care about cleanliness or their health these days. If its blue it must be Xanax.

Re: EDDY (# 4)

That’s interesting. My ex best friend’s husband started the company and got very rich and horribly obnoxious about his wealth so I hope what you are saying is fact and they lost ALL their money. I live in Hallandale, Florida. WHO CARRIES A GOOD GENERIC NEAR US?

I find the Greenstone alprazolam to NOT being better.
The only one that seems to have any effect is the one I get delivered from Silver Scripts. It’s the 2 mg. rectangular coated white with scoring into 4 pieces. GG249.

I wish the Greenstone worked on my insomnia but it does work for anxiety during the day.
Optum RX has generic 1 mg and 2 mg that worked for me but insurance changed.

Re: Alan (# 3)

I am sorry that you had negative/adverse effects from Xanax (Alprazolam). However, what it sounds like to me, is that you're upset because of becoming "dependant" on this drug. This is/has always been an "addressed, written & usually a verbal warning" accompanying this particular medication, along others in the benzodiazepine family. As with many other drugs/medications, there are those who reap invaluable benefits from taking them and whose lives are much better because the positive effects they support/supply. Unfortunately, there will/has always been those who abuse, or become dependant, whether it be consciously or unconsciously, certain chemicals/substances. This makes it exceedingly hard, on those of us who truly need and benefit from these medications, to obtain and have available access to them. Since the beginning of time and apothecary, we've seen this dilemma. I can only pray that the good sense of "good physicians", who take their oath to care for their patients, will prevail over big government and big politics.

It would be best if all Benzodiazepines were taken off the market. Sounds strange coming from a 30 year legal user but this stuff is poison
