Wrong Pill From Pharmacy?

i was given a round, not oval, pink pill says e101 on it and manufacturer is Sandoz. Sandoz does not show a round pink pill for the 10 mg lisinopril on their website, only an oval one. Could i have been given the wrong pill?

Wow! I got exactly the same thing yesterday and was just looking for answers. My last Lisinopril 10mg tablets were oval. These are round, by Sandoz and have the E 101 on them. The description on the bottle says "oval pink tablet". Did they just change the shape? I hope we find answers. I didn't take one tonight, but I did last night. I am going to call the pharmacist in the morning. It probably IS our Lisinopril but the shape was changed???

I just double checked the imprint/pill description and even though the shape is round instead of oval, what you have should definitely be 10mgs of Lisinopril, manufactured by Sandoz (as long as it was filled at a licensed pharmacy). To my understanding, some drug manufacturers have been known to change the pill color/shape/imprint at their own discretion without informing patients or pharmacies first - something we may never get used to LOL. However you can also make contact with Sandoz Customer Support at 1 (800) 525-8747 to verify that everything else about the pill still corresponds with what you were prescribed. At least seeing other responses on here with similar feedback goes to show that we're not alone. I hope this helps!
