Wondering About Activated Charcoal

what now Says:

Hi I took an antibiotic 3 months ago and have been suffering from it since. I have symptoms of Neuropathy and dizziness etc from this horrible poison. (metronizadole) I don't know if the toxins are still in my body since the doctors say they are long gone. However the damage is not. Do you think taking activated charcoal would benifit me and if so where would I purchase this and what would be the dose? Thank you for your comments.

No, they would not still be in your body, so activated charcoal wouldn't help, since it only removes toxins that are currently in your body and being digested.

What may have happened, however, is that you had a bad reaction the medication and it caused permanent damage to your body.

What type of doctor have you seen for the problems?

If it has been 3 months since the antibiotic, I highly recommend taking a probiotic (available at vitamin store or compounding pharmacy). I would also find a way to have a doctor prescribe an antifungal (diflucan, sporonax). Go to knowthecause.com
This will give you an idea of what is happening to your body. I hope this will help you feel better soon!

Activated charcoal isn't meant to take on a daily basis cause it doesn't take much to detox your system, but maybe 3-4 weeks would be enough time. It wouldn't hurt to take it for a bit just to make sure there's no bad toxin left in your body.
