No, Oxycodone will register as Oxycodone and Hydrocodone will be detected as Hydrocodone, they are two different substances.

Both of these narcotics are usually detectable in standard urine tests for up to 4 days, after taking them, though this can vary from person to person, depending on your individual metabolism, overall health, activity levels, fluid intake and many other factors.

If you are running out early, because your prescribed amount isn't handling your pain, then you really need to discuss this issue with your doctor.

How long have you been taking your current dosage?

Hello. I took 30mg oxycodone 48 hours ago. I had to submit to a urine drug screen today as well. It was about 48hours after ingesting the drug. What are the chance the oxycodone will show up in the drug screen?

Oxycodone will show up as oxycodone and hydrocodone will show up as opiates on a panel urine test. And they both can leave your urine in as soon as 12 hours or as long as 5 days depending on many things.

I am supposed to be taking hydrocodone 10/325 mg --2 in morning 2 in afternoon, 1 at night, also fentanyl 75 mcgs --1 patch every 72 hrs. If doctor does a blood or urine test on me, to detect them, how soon before tests do I need to be taking these for it to show in the tests? I WANT THEM TO SHOW UP.

Dip stick urine screen panels come in a huge variety. A simple 5 panel test might only have one bar for all opiates. A larger panel or individual sticks can be used to differentiate between Hydro and Oxy. I'd say you need to be in about an 4 day window for them to test positive. A more comprehensive lab test, which takes longer to get results from, will definitely differentiate between the two.
