Why We Need To Take Levipil 500 ??? (Page 2)

Hello !! On 18th March'12 we were going to ahemadabad.. I reached at 12 in the night, then had sleep by 2am. Then have to wake up early at 6 clock. When i came from the bathroom I fell down. Then again when i gone to take my brush then i was shivering..my full body was shaking..i was out of the world..i did not knew that i am shaking like this.. Then my parents called 108 and gone to hospital..after doing various tests the doctor told that its a case of epilepsy.. Doctor gave me Levipil 500mg..and told to take on morning and night..Plz reply 4 how many years i have to take this medicine..?

Better if you consult your doctor who started the medicine.

How long should I continue with Levipil500 & 750 in the Morning & Evening.
Can't I discontinue the medicine at some stage.

Iam 36 years old iam taking levipil 500mg after I was affected by epilepsy at 2013 can it lead to side effects... now iam taking only at night time .if I can stop taking ..i had epilepsy only that same weak ...after that I don't have that issue....

Iam 53 yrs housewife. On Oct 2016 had underwent decompression surgery to treat bleed in d brain. Now recovering left side hand weakness has to be improved. Iam a diabetic n hypertensive. D doctor neurologist prescribed levipil 500 daily one morning n night. I never experienced epilepsy. EEG done revealed seizures . For how many days I hv to take levipil? Mrs Bala

Hello sir/madam, I am an asst.prof in English by profession. i was taking aicohol for a long time. i lost my sense when i stopped taking it. my doctor has advised me to take levipil 500 daily. For how long will i be continuing taking the same? Please advise me...

I was detected with Brain Cancer in the month of April 2016. thereafter followed the protocol of 7 set of Chemotherapy and 20 radiation in the brain. All treatment completed by September 2016 and now follow ups are done every 3-4 months. Today felt some jerk type or rather shivering in the left fingers and palm. Kindly advice the reason of it. Should I again continue with Levipil which I had stopped taking by Jan 2017 after doctors advise. Kindly advise

Shankar, that's too much of AEDs. First line of defense should be mono therapy . Here I see 3 drugs . Long term on these polytherapy will have significant cognitive effects . Please switch to monotherapy as per your doctor

Sir/madammy husband was suffering from the same problem from last 3month's we have admitted him for hospital nd now he is totally changed he was angry And he will b always on bed like he will be sleeping always when we admitted they told that he is not having any problem but now he is like this nd sometimes he don't know what he is doing and he will be like stupid. he is taking levipil 500 but I was worried about him what is the problem what will happen to him

Thats too much of drugs and using long term will show a lot of side effects including memory loss,anger, bone loss, etc. Try some cardio exercise, yoga and medication while reducing the drugs to just one while doing a slow taper

Sir, I'm fine. Taking medicine regularly. Doctor told to report after 3 months But I couldn't find time to meet him. Already 5 months passed, no problem till now. Hope soon I'll meet Doctor. Sometimes I drive, is it safe... long drive? Please advice
