The 2172 sucks I have promblems with my l2 and my l5 in my back and I took like 5 at one time and no relief the watsons work much better and faster it's to the point where I got to go to the er for my pain cause the 2172 aren't working

I took 5 and no relief at all they just really sucks. Now I will ask my doctor for a stronger medication and tell him why...I get 120 every month but with the 2172 they are not going to last a month..I need watsons back

Man, the new pill vs the watson 3202, is crap.
Walgreens says it's the same. My psychiatrist says there may be a difference, only the levels have to be at a certain number.
Mornings I hurt so bad I cuss and can barely walk, with my walker.
Granted the old pill only took the edge off and I was always in pain, but this new one is like waking up with nothing in my system.
It ain't pretty.
Something needs to be done, but where do we go?

this new 2172 pill did the same thing to my stomach; I was doubled over for 3 hrs from only one of them........I will not take them anymore

There not the same, I'm going to ask my dr for Vicodin 5-300 or 7.5 -300 it may cause a few more$$ out of pocket but why would I put something in my system that does not do what they use to do, who is the manufacturer I don't like how Walgreen is responding I have been taking 3202 by Watson for years and on a good day 1 works every 6 hrs as needed.

Yes someone has to do something about this these new Watson are not the same we and other people don't ask for pain to come in our life but it does and places trying to save on some money or whatever isn't helping people this so messed up some shoupdates go to the news

Yes I had to take two to get any relief. They suck so bad! But it made my tummy very upset, thank goodness for Dramamine! Lol.

Thanks for responding if anyone can tell me what's an good alternative please let me know I will be discussing with my doctor this month asking him to write anoter prescription different from my previous witch was hydrocodone 5.325mg

Hate 2172 hydro 5 335 for pain I got mind in sept. Told my Dr they don't help my pain, he wrote new RX for 7.5 300 hydrocodone any one know how good they work I will fill them when it time. Any feedback would be great. I'm also glad my RX changed to 300 instead of 325 easier on the liver.

My Pharmacy just switched me to the 2172 Norco, and I had to get my Doctor to specify on my next refill and all further refills in the future be the other generic Watson, and it wasn't even at my request, it was my Doctors. I have been on Norco for over 10 years, and I literally had to take 4-5 of the 2172 brand for it to even touch the pain, whereas I only used to need 1 or 2. When I called my Doctor to see what was going on (I was afraid my tolerance was becoming the problem, even though after all these years I have never had that issue), he said I was not the first to come to him with the same problem and that it was not me, but the new generic brand. He called Pharmacy and had them note on my file that I was not to receive anything but the Watson brand, and everything has been fine since!

This 2172 pill suck's it nothing compared to my Watson's that i was getting.
It may be a new norco brand but i have to take 10 12 a day where with watson
I could do my daily number of pills and be fine. Now im out dont go bk to the doc til next month.
This pill should be taken off the market.
It SUCK's no wonder ppl run out there meds earily then the DOCTOR CALL's you a Druggie. This is Bull

Everything I have received from TEVA pharmaceuticals has been sub standard at best and often times ineffective. Actavis is TEVA now, they are bad. However be careful of the apap. Recommended cwe for your safety.

I would never take that many at once because of liver damage what I would suggest is to explain to you Dr what's going on with the 2172 tell your Dr to read some of the post out here, I would ask for stronger meds like 7.5 300 mg. I was taking 5.325 I hate pain but I love my liver.

I have been taking hydrocodone/acetomenophen 5-325 from actavis, white oblong pill with 2172 on it following hip replacement surgery. Works fine.

My brother in law has bladder cancer and the treatment and after treatment is very painful!!! The doctors WILL NOT give him pain medicine (and the guidelines for his cancer does not include pain medication) are they serious!!!! The tube goes up his urethra!!! I bet if the doctor had to do that, he would find some pain medicine....
