Is this a pain pill or is like a Xanax? It is round with line on 1 side and Pliva 433 on other side.

i have some 50 mg trazadone i got from a friend cause ive not been able to sleep good for about a month now & he said theese will help. if they do work. so should i expect to be groggy in the morning? or should i just take half 25 mg,

Hey I have a question regarding what you said. Please don't think I'm arguing I'm honestly not just curious. Ha I can tell from some of your lingo you have some form of medical backround. Anyways....does hydromorphone really come in 3mg or did you just mean you have prescribed people to take 3 mg of hydromorphone. I dint think 3mg was an available strength but you are probably a lot more qualified then myself and would know!!

My Dr prescribed this to me for sleep aid, but I still have a huge prpblem staying asleep. It makes me drowsy, but my mind just will not stop, and I wake easy. I'm pretty tired all day, but just cant stay asleep. I'm very frustrated!!!

It is called Trazadone.It's a sleeping pills, it works but it's very strong so maybe take 1/2 of it the first time....Laurie

I take 3 50 mg a night and do fine most time but as the day progresses I get sleepy and they do nothing for pain but they relax you like xanax

It's a sleeping pill. But used for secondary symptoms. Not at all like an antidepressant. And yes, you DO feel it right away, it puts you to sleep, therefore works within 45 min.

My mom is on home hospice. There is a care box that is given for various general elderly dimentia patients. Some are for nausea, Pain, constipation, etc. There is a small amt in of each and the only persons allowed into the patient care box are her rn or me her her surrogate. I have it wrapped and taped carefully as many visitors come in and out. No one that I am aware of even knows what is in there. Just last week the rn and I noticed a leak in one of the 2mg bottles of oxicotin bottle and a few pills missing. 2 trazadone and 1 halatol. I have secured it and boobied trapped it as she doesn't need these meds at this time. R N said to watch as they administer the liquids via a dropper so would not be of any use for an "amateur" MY question: if an aide gave my mom at night one or 2 of the trazadone. Would we have noticed excess sleeping during the day it was administered? Also I alerted everyone there is a cam put up that is experimental and the company didn't even tell me.Sounds good as nothing has been touched since then. Thanks for listening as this has been a very dishearten experience for all.

My dr prescribed 100 mg of trazadone for anxiety and insomnia. I started having seizures and syncope. I stopped taking them.

Hi, I was prescribed 50mg of Trazadone about 4 or 5 years ago & they have helped with my anxiety & depression, as well as some occasional sleeplessness. I rarely take them now - only if I'm having trouble sleeping & I think of them before its too late at night. My problem is the 50lbs I've gained after being 100 -110lbs all my life!! I'm sitting at 150 & won't budge & am now 48, so on top of the gain my metabolism seems to have screeched to a halt. While I realize 150 isn't sumo wrestler status, it is not right for the small boned petite woman of 5'1" that I am & I am not comfortable at ALL!! I walk ~1.5-2 miles right out my door in the neighborhood on 3-4 nights/week & try to watch what I eat to no avail!! Is there anything comparable I could mention to my Dr. that won't make me gain weight or could even help me lose it, but will still help w anxiety /depression? My stress level is thru the roof, at least it feels like it. I'm also ADD/ ADHD but haven't taken my Adderall in months because *get this*- it puts me to SLEEP! Am I just crazy, or what?!? I hope not!! I can't stand this belly!! Any ideas?

I like it for sleeping also.

Are you serious? Just because it's white and has the same size effects as almost every pill on the planet does not mean it's even similar to drugs like Xanax pain meds

No. This is used for anxiety, or depression. You will not get wacked out on them. They are also used for insomnia.
