U should never run out early bc half life on subutex or suboxone is 30 hrs. No matter how u think u feel u are perfectly fine if u dose every 24 hrs. An no it will not throw u into withdrawal. But if u have naloxone in ur system the methadone may not work since naloxone is a blocker.

I get so sick of people like you with that viewpoint. Technically you are correct but if subs or methadone keeps people of H and gets their life stable & not out chasing the dope man every day, then yeah they're clean too. If taken properly it is no different than someone who takes blood pressure medicine daily.

Be careful all of you I pray all works out for everyone.those of use that have been stung by the scorpion,it is no joke the monkey on your back is always there and steadily waiting for his chance to persuade you.I was clean almost 6 months finally had everything back I lost plus some,but as this discussion is heating up my relapse was the same I just wanted to tell people you can do it!!!And keep trying but one day I got into a very intense debate about what should be taken to properly get clean,but it was a setup,it was the moment my monkey was looking for.He jumped into the middle where he was the center attention and me tired of arguing said fine ok I'll show you,your way doesn't work let's quit talking and meet again in a couple months and see if your finally clean.God,the monkey worked his way into my mind thinking well maybe his does work,maybe I can try it just once and see if he's just getting high or trying BAMMMM!!!! HOOK LINE N SINKER! I am now 8 month using again on the needle and cant find my way out please respect others opinions is all I'm saying Godbless!

You can break Subutex. I break mine into half's or 1/4s every day. On another note. Don't take any other opiates with suboxone or Subutex. It will either put you in withdrawal or not work. The suboxone will put you in withdrawal if you try to take it any other way then putting it under your tongue. Even if you crush or break it.

I did the same thing about 13 years ago. I went to the methadone clinic and missed my appointment one day and someone gave me a sub and not knowing any better I took it and went into the most horrible withdrawals imaginable. The EMS was called because I was shaking bad and the hospital did nothing for me but put me in a room by myself and checked on me once before releasing me. Late that night the symptoms wore off and I went bato the clinic the next day. I guess it’s true that you take pain medicine after taking the subs but not the other way around.

If you take 40 mgs or more say oxys a day break it in half to start then take quaters till next morning evdry few hrs till your able to tolerate a half at a time or the entire 8 mg pill i take 2-8s s day one morning one before bed seems to be saving my life to be truthful i hate the strips and pills arnt much better to be clear but if it helps and oh bye the way i take 6-8 oxy 10s a day min so yes it saved me iv been on oxys over 20 years per doctors
