i take methadone 10 mg ,for pain but have noticed a difference between the round and oblong ones the round ones make me very tired ,ne1 no wat pharmacies carry the oblong ones?

There can be difference in generic drugs, they are allowed to differ in the active ingredient, by as much as plus or minus 20%, because the FDA considers this an acceptable therapeutic window.

If they are making you tired, then that probably means you are experiencing more side effects, so they are a little stronger than what you are used to taking.

As to what pharmacies carry the different ones, can you post back with more details, such as the markings on the ones you are looking for or the manufacturer, as well as your general location?

Otherwise, people can only try and guess these details. You'll get more responses if you are more specific.

I am having a hard time finding a pain speacialist to treat my spine and sciatic pains recently having a giant profusion removed my doctor and a few others here in northern California have lost there license for over prescribing pleaded help me find a good doctor who prescribes methadone as I have been on it for years and am running low
