elongated white pill scored on one side and the other side has BP 543.

the bottle says BMP Tabs 6mg and they should be taken twice a day but it does not say what for.

BMP is just an abbreviation for the drug Brompheniramine, which is an antihistamine that's used to reliever allergies, hay fever and cold symptoms.
