This contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, this is a generic for Percocet.

This is an addictive narcotic analgesic.

Some of the most common side effects include: drowsiness, nausea, dry mouth and constipation.

DebDeb Says:

Is generic IP204 percocet as strong as the real percocet? Not this brand, but another generic brand didn't seem as strong since I'd been taking the yellow 10's. Apparently yellow is generic also from my understanding.

The term addictive in the explaination is not very responsible. It is a drug with a high rate of dependancy but addiction is a state and usually refers to an uncontrollable urge for somethimg plenty of people use this medication without addictive tendancies even if their bodoes become dependant.

I have never ever seen this pill as a percocet generic brand before, but if you say so.... How can a generic brand be less strong than the REAL percocet?

Generic is the same as the real thing. When a patent runs out on something anyone can basicly clone it. They have the same exact chemical make up.

Generic can be 30% stronger or weaker then name brand. Quality control isn't as rigid.

I usually take the get the yellow 10/325 but my pharmacy was out and wasn't sure when they would be getting any in. I went to a pharmacy around the corner and they filled my prescription with the IP204 pills. I had to look them up to make sure they were the right thing.

I don't care what anyone else says, in my opinion, these are not nearly as strong as the yellow 10/325 or even the white Watson ones. These leave me in constant pain. My prescription allows for me to take 2 at a time if I need. With the yellow ones I rarely need it. I take two of these IP204's and I feel like I haven't take anything. They are horrible. I will never allow my prescription to be filled with them again.

Fda says that a generic brand can contain up to 20% less of the active ingredient. I was a bit shocked to hear this but its true.

Absolutely. I've used opiates for pain relief for years (now only for the occasional panful episode) and have never become "addicted". Use of common sense and following the prescribed dosage and timing will prevent any dependency. Not to say you won't feel a little down the day after ceasing taking a course of treament for therapy. But again, use your common sense. You will be back to normal in a day or so. Addiction is a weak attempt to deal with life without accountability or consequence.

I have been taking 10mg percocet (scored u17) for awhile now, then got the ip204 and on my 1st time taking it, it made my head feel weird and the taste was like a lot of tylenol. Is that normal for this brand of percocet?

Why does my IP 204 pill taste salty? It doesn't have that oxycodone taste and seems weaker?
