Hi! I have a relative staying over who uses Agoral frequently as it is the only thing that aids his severe constipation problem. He purchased Agoral over the counter at a local Walgreen's store at a U.S. territory, however left it behind when he arrived to the US, thinking he'd find it anywhere. However, we were wrong. We haven't been able to find Agoral in any pharmacy in the continental US. We have tried all the main pharmacies (CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid, etc.), and have searched online .. but no luck. Is Agoral an actual medication name rather than an actual medication name? Does anyone know how and where we can find it?

Thank you.

Verwon Says:

Agoral is a brand name for a stimulant laxative that uses Sennosides, thus the equivalents you would find in the U.S. would be others that contain the same ingredient, such as Ex-Lax, Senokot, or the store brands.

Is there anything else I can help with?

The manufacturer of Agoral has been changing the formulation for this product since the 80's. So some patients have been using different products maybe without noticing. The actual formulation consists of sennosides which can be found with different brond names and even cheaper,.
