Hi Kay,

Since your doctor prescribed Kadian to you, then your best bet would be to go to your local pharmacy or call all of the pharmacies in your area to see who carries it.

If you can't get your prescriptions filled locally, you could try an online pharmacy that can ship you your meds. I personally haven't used this method for getting a prescription, but I know there are a handful of sites out there that are safe and legal to order from amongst the swarm of bad ones:

Legitimate online pharmacies that carry the VIPPS seal are listed at:

FDA: Buying Medicines and Medical Products Online
Quick Tips for Buying Online:
* Make sure the site requires a prescription and has a pharmacist available for questions.
* Buy only from state-licensed pharmacies. The National Association of Boards of Pharmacies has more information about licensing and its program to certify online pharmacies.
* Don't provide personal information such as credit card numbers unless you are sure the site will protect them.

Hope this information helps!

If it's of any help to your search - listed below is a pharmacy-locator, that uses your zip code to find nearby pharmacies within a given mile range:

Phone numbers and addresses are included in the list; but I would suggest visiting a number of them in person to see if anyone can fill your prescription. Calling them probably isn't recommended, as they are often trained to say no on the phone if a stranger is asking for narcotics.

KADIAN 70mg has been discontinued. It's available now in increments of 10mg up to 60mg, and in doses of 100mg and 200mg. I take 160mg of Kadian per day. My doctor has me fill one Rx for Kadian 100mg and one Rx for Kadian 60mg.
