Thanks for your reply. I bought Claritin today since it has the pseudophedrine in it and so far in half a day it's been better than others I tried over the past week or so. I will look for Eltor 120. I took that med when i was younger but i can't remember if it worked or nit.

Nothing is as good as Drixoral but what can we do? I've thought about starting a Change.org post, but how to reach all the people who want Drixoral? And is any pharm lab even making it anymore? I just don't understand why a company would stop making a medicine that so many people need and want, just because some drug addicts can make speed of it. There must be something else going on.

Finally!!! No it's not Drixoral but on terms of ingredients it's contains the same (both ingredients we need: Pseudoephedrine and Dexbrompheniramine). It required a bit of shopping but here it is: Claritin 12 + 10ml of Dimetapp syrup (at once) and I get the exact same effect as Drixoral. I was so sick with allergies in the past week and now I can breathe again and I'm not sneezing anymore! Hurray!

Singerita, I am going to try this for sure. It's the Dexbrompheniramine that I need, personally speaking - the antihistamine. That's what i've been looking for, because that's the only thing Drixoral has that the others don't, so it MUST be the thing that makes it work, right? THANK YOU! I'll report back on my progress.

I've been using drixoral for years, I too am having a problem finding it here in Canada, Saskatchewan to be exact, I've talked to many pharmacies with no result, no one seems to know why they stopped handling it out where to get it... This really sucks, as it was the only product that worked for me.

Look, we really haven't gotten a real clue why Drixoral has been taken off the market, and it really is unfair. After all we know it is very effective and has worked over many medical substances. When I have been home from the flu, it saved me from missing another day of work etc. The only thing left to do is to consult the government or change our ways or figure out another way to deal with allergies. Does anyone know how I feel? It's the same. We were once told that the company was changing or moving and when this was done, Drixoral would resume. This is an apparent lie. I read previously that a drug called "Daxophed D" was to be released to consumers in Feb 2014, this didn't happen even tho the name of the product was protected under a copyright. Is petitioning for Drixoral a real answer? Let's hear it and I know I'm not going thru the trouble to do that.

If you create a petition, I'm in, problem is, who do you petition?

Fortunately, I have 6 boxes left. But I recently discovered LODRANE 24D. Have not tried it yet, it requires a prescription, and I'm going to try and get my MD to sign off on it. It's the same AI, not as much psuedo, but it may work just as well.

Lodrane did NOTHING for me. Sorry. I already tried that.

I can't find the CVS Allergy relief - D. Only Allergy Relief without the D at CVS. that is just the antihistamine without the decongestant. Now why can't I find this? Where did you get it?

You can still buy Drixoral in Canada. I bought mine mail order. I've also purchased it in Victoria, BC while visiting there. I agree 100% that it's the best.

I was told by a CVS pharmacist that Allergy Relief - D is just the generic brand for Claritin. So, you just buy Claritin if it works for you. It does not for me.

Odd, I can't find one on-line pharmacy that sells this any longer in Canada. I'm in America and like many here, we want our Drixoral and I think it's plain wrong that we have to suffer and hear the lies regarding the company that made it.
