I'm sorry, I can't find patches listed as being available in the U.S.

Where are you located?

It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so should not be used without a doctor's approval.

Even as a patch, it would still tend to cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, headache and skin irritation.

Boots The Chemist in the UK used to sell these, and for my arthritic fingers they were a boon as I could cut them to fit and secure them with a plaster on the painful joint. What do I do now? I buy the stronger Diclofenac Spray from Germany (which you stupidly cant buy in the UK) and soak a piece of lint with it, I then secure with micropore tape to affected area - at the moment in this case - my neck where I also have arthritis. You are NEVER going to experience the same side effects even at this level of dosage - and I'm sensitive to Ibuprofen if I take it by mouth, but never this way. You could try using an Ibuprofen spray from the chemist and employ the same technique, but in the UK the dosage will be far less.
