You can take it right now. For me the ideal dose of oxycodone is about 30mgs. Glad to see your off of the methadone. Ive detoxed cold turkey several times in my life and it is difficult. Most people cry and cry about their withdrawal. Man-up .... it is not something that cannot be done by yourself. Just takes willpower.

Since there are interactions found between these two medications, I would suggest waiting till the Methadone is "completely" out of your system before taking the Percocet.

One reference states that in urine tests, methadone can be detected from 3-5 days. This however varies from person to person.

Another source indicates that they have failed drug tests even after 10 days of being off the drug.

Going off of these personal experiences of other users, I would recommend waiting as long as 20 days to a month before starting Percocet. If your looking for a more accurate answer though, I would think that your doctor would be able to let you know based on your personal information. No one here can know for sure without knowing about your total lifestyle, personal information, medical records, and so forth, as these all play a factor to a certain degree.

I took 20-30mg of methadone for qbout a week. Havent had any for 2 days. I have my 15mg oxyxodone for gallbladder pain. So why and when will i be able to feel the oxys??? Need an answer asap....please...

Methadone has a 12 hour half life so if your looking for a high you should wait. 72 hours on 50 mg or more, 48 hours for under 50. The sooner u take it the less euphoria effect it will have.
