I think i have a drug test coming up at the clinic and i have methadone pills instead of the liquid that i usually take. Will taking the pill form give me a dirty urine at the clinic?

You are fine. I've been at a methadone clinic for over 2 years dosing with the liquid they have. Occasionally we have access to pills and buy some, or while i was in the hospital they would give me pills. It comes up in your urine as the same exact thing so dont worry about it.

I was on a methadone clinic for 6 years I became pregnant it wasn't my plan but went up to $150 grams and slowly only out of my request came down to 30 milligrams in that time. And just for anyone who is interested in knowing the government runs the methadone programs they don't do anything to help you detox in terms of bringing you off the product they will let you stay on it forever because that's how they're making their money! Anyway I was tossed off the clinic and have had to seek opiates elsewhere I have now got what I think is enough liquid methadone to get me through the first couple days of my final detox but the second half is in 10 milligram pill form I need to know if it is ok to use both and in English what is the difference between the Pill-form and the liquid thanks

Can I ask you how you ever got off of methadone? I have been discouraged as there are little success stories from others on this drug. I am 22 and I have been on methadone the liquid form for almost 4 years now and I desperately want to stop taking it but I am afraid of the withdrawals I currently take 70 milligrams a day. Do you have any advice for me on how to get off of it and the best way to do ? Any advice in this matter would be utmost appreciated . Thank you -Sabrina

Wow ??not to b rude but that is just a silly question. If u don't know the answer maybe u shouldn't b on the medication .The answer is noooo when u pee at the clinic its just show positive under the lab results for method one.

Most people think the liquid works faster it does not to me and i can take 150mgs of liquid at one time if i took 15 10mg pills at one time i would be dead the pills are alot stonger than the liquid and by the way they both show up the same on drug test for the time being anyway but its only a matter of time

Amen to that!!! I got back on Methadone to get off the Suboxone and back on Heroin to get off the Methadone. Those first two are really nasty to get off of. My theory: ?Sub and Methadone are both synthetic.

So this UA has long since past, however I'm absolutely positive that the UA would not be considered dirty. However I would like to add that if someone is taking pills instead of their normal liquid that they shouldn't think they need to take the same amount of milligrams in pill form that they do in liquid, the liquid acts slower, the pills are instant.... You could overdose. Please use caution. Hope this helps.

To add to my previous post.. I have been in methadone for 2 years now I am on 60 mg a day and the last few months all my joints hurt really bad in the am and I can hardly use my hands. Saw another post saying this happened to someone else and I'm curious why this is happening

I just tried this I was currently on ninty mg liquid methadone for over a year. Tried switching to subutex after 24hours of no methadone. I about died!Dont do it unless you have never been on methadone or you wait till completely out of your system. It takes a long time for methadone to get out of your system to, about seven days. ..I'm back on methadone I could not handle it! A lot of ppl say subutex won't do that, but suboxone will, I know for fact they both will make you very sick if methadone is in your system. ..

I took the liquid methadone at the clinic for the last three years. At 240 mg. In the last few months my body started rejecting the meds. I would puke it up every single day. So the clinic switched me to the wafers. To my suprise the wafers seemed to be waaay more potent as i slept and constantly nodded for the first few days. Now im down to 140 and dont nod off if i stay busy. I was told all methadones equal but clearly isnt the truth when it comes to my body.
