My granddaughter is 24 weeks pg, her doctor prescribed sulfa for a UTI which she was on for 3 days then he pretended he didn't know she was pg and switched her medication. Is it not okay to take sulfa while pg?
Thank you-

I have a bad skin infection from taking too much methamphetamine and it's been 2 weeks. I have a 7 day supply of mylan 3422 and want to know if this could help? I know i need to quit methamphetamine. But this is really bad and its right on the end of my nose. I already took antibiotics for a week. Acyclovir and Doxycycline. It helped some but when i dosed again it came back even worse. I'm scared to go to the dr. My skin is also getting grey patches and very wrinkly and swollen. Please help... Its making me CRAZY!

This is a broad spectrum antibiotic that is used to treat various types of bacterial infections. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

For others reading this post Acyclovir is not an antibiotic, it is an antiviral, so it will not treat bacterial, or fungal infections.

Denise, those could be symptoms of a possibly serious condition. You need to see a doctor immediately.

How are you all doing, now? Has there been any change?
