What Is An Alternative To Methylprednisolone?

My daughter just started taking this and she is already vomiting profusely... I have been reading this stuff from others, I have to tell you this scares me to death..she is a young mother of 2 who has had constant sinus infections, had surgery on her sinuses and infection comes right back again. She has lost her sense of smell, her business has had to shut down. I am concerned, I want her to get better but at what expense. Is there any other alternative to this craziness?

I am very sorry about what she has been going through. My husband has dealt with similar issues, and just had to have sinus surgery, yesterday and we are hoping it resolves his issues.

What type of sinus surgery was done on your daughter? Have they given her any antibiotics?

Methylprednisolone will not treat an infection, since it cannot eradicate bacteria, according to NIH reports, though it may help with swelling/inflammation.

How long has she been experiencing such issues?

I had a chronic sinus infection for 12 years and oregano oil cured it. I used Oreganol 73 oil, and also the Oreganol capsules. Take 2 oregano oil capsules 3x a day, and at night, rub oregano oil on the soles of your feet. Be careful not to touch you lips, nose, and eyes, because it will burn. Be sure to use good quality-- Oreganol or Source Natural. My sinus infection was completely gone after three days, but I kept taking the dose for two weeks (as if it were antibiotics), just to make sure. It's been four years, and the infection has never come back. Now everytime I start to get a cold, I take a couple of oregano oil capsules, and it's gone. Highly recommend!
