Sifasi-HP 5000 IU (also known as HCG - Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) is used to stimulate ovulation in infertile women who have not ovulated, and whose cause of infertility is not due to primary ovarian failure.

Hi, I am 25 yrs old and from India. I tested positive by pregnancy strip test (5 weeks old now) and went to see a doctor and she prescribed Sifasi hp 5000 and when I check through web find this one is used to treat infertility and I am confused, why I was asked to take this one. Please clarify my doubt. Thanks in advance.

I am 23 yrs old and am planning for a second baby. During my first pregnancy I received an injection to promote ovulation. This time around, my dr also suggested the same thing - SIFASI HP 5000IU. I started taking it on 23/12/2017, but I don't have any pain yet, so I'm confused as to whether or not my ovulation is complete?
