West Ward Prednisone 5 Mg Tablet

I have trouble telling the difference between my 25 mg tablet of metoprolo by Ranbaxy and my 5 mg tablet of prednisone by West-Ward. How can I easily tell the difference when in my pill case?

Take a closer look at the imprints on them, the imprints are on the tablets and usually placed on most prescriptions labels, as well.

The 25mg Metoprolol from Ranbaxy should have the marking RE 79 on it.

The 5mg Prednisone has the marking WEST-WARD 475.

Just because you're taking generics doesn't mean that you cannot ask for the same generic company for your meds.
Perhaps you could ask your doc to Rx both meds from the same generic company. The Metropolol and the pred 5 from Ranbaxy (for example) do not look alike.
