I'm a 26 year old female taking 450mg once daily. I've been on Wellbutrin for proabably about a year and a half and it helps so much with depression and it helped me lose weight! The pounds were dropping! I also was doing weight watchers but even when I ate horrible I would lose or not gain, at all! Now.... it's not helping me with weight loss? My depression is at bay but it's not helping me keep weight off anymore... has anyone else have this happen? I got 2 drug tests, one to get into collage for semi-truck driving and one hair drug test for when I start driving semi trucks. Will wellbutrin XL 150mg show up on the drug test? ## This is a medication that is used to treat depression, anxiety, and to aid in smoking cessation, so it is not something that is normally included in standard drug tests. children found pills in a home with supervised visits- found out they were some sort of generic wellbutrin; but need to know what brand they are, the makers and any info you may have, i need to research this and cannot find a whole lot on it. The pills are white, round, words- WPI 839 on the pill. need to know the dosage on this particular pill. I've been using the coupon program to get my brand Wellbutrin XL 300mg for $100/month for the past couple years. This past refill in January the pharmacy said the coupon program had changed and if your insurance doesnt pay anything at all toward the rx, which mine doesnt, then the coupon wont either, making it full price if I want it. Hopefully someone sees this, I've never been on this site before. My doctor increased my Wellbutrin to 450 mg about 2 months ago. I feel like I am slowly losing it, and I never thought that maybe it could be the Wellbutrin. I'm always agitated. I'm never comfortable, never relaxed. I am doing obsessive things like washing my hands repeatedly, making sure everything in the room is perfectly neat and straight. I can't cry anymore. I've been taking the generic brand PAR of Buproion LX 300MG for over 2 years and haven't run into any problems. Walgreens switched the brand to Actavis generic this month and I feel extremely depressed. I plan on seeking medical attention from my doctor right away-- but I'd like to hear about your experiences to not feel so alone. FYI: The drug manufacturer Watson bought out Activist. Watson "made a business decision" to no longer produce the Watson generic brand of Wellbutrin and only produce the Activist version. Watson was the brand that worked for me (I've tried many) so it's unfortunate they have made this business decision. I've called the company to request they continue to manufacture the Watson version. Ive read a lot of men are having trouble with there libido or ED on this med I am currently on 10 mg twice a day last month & I find the opposite to be true. Because of other meds ( High BP Cholesterol Bypass surgery ) and Wellbutrin being in my late 50's My libido was gone for about 2 years ago I started with Testosterone shots monthly then daily underarm which helped because my numbers were very low but didnt quite make it all the way spotty but better. My doctor will not prescribe generic Wellbutrin XL but my insurance will no longer pay for brand name drugs. I will have to pay about $7000 per yer for what I am taking now (3 of the 150mg Wellbutrin XL brand name per day). I am reading that the problem with the generics is the time release mechanism and not the drug itself and that some are better than others. I was receiving from Walgreens Bupropion 150mg SR which were green tablets imprinted M U12. Best medication I have ever been prescribed because it also acted as a stimulant therefore I no longer needed to sleep during the day. But after receiving the latest refiill I noticed I was again exhausted each day and needed to sleep. Later realized Walgreens gave me different tablets...a purple tablet imprinted S on one side and 525 on the other side. Walgreens said the purple tablet was exactly the same as the green tablet and it was FDA approved. What does FDA really mean? I've been getting name brand Wellbutrin XL 300 from Direct Success Pharmacy for several years, but I just found out yesterday that the cash program is no longer available as of October 31, 2016. So, I will be forced to switch to the generics again. I have had side effects from three of the generics on the market. I've tried Actavis, Mylan and Par. The best of the worst was probably Actavis so I guess I will try it again. Any advice? I was taking 150 ml of Bupropion SR by Teva for several years and it has stopped working for my depression. Has anyone been happy with the other generic forms of Wellbutrin? I am now trying one from Activis but just started it yesterday. ## Your body will get used to the dosage of any medication that you take for a long period of time and it will eventually become less effective.
