For years on wellbutrin I've complained of chronic adult acne, insomnia, and tons of anxiety and uncontrollable carb eating problems. Many many doctors. Off the wellbutrin for 4 weeks - on my own, no anxiety, beautiful skin, weight loss, controllable eating and at last good sleep. I found this out on my own

The FDA lists this medication as containing the active ingredient Bupropion. Its side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, nervousness, and insomnia.

Erinfaith, are you on any other medications? How long were you taking the Wellbutrin?

Re: erinfaith (# 1)

I've been on Wellbutrin 150xl for 3 months as my dopamine all but completely shut off, it took a few weeks but turned the dopamine taps back on. Side effects I noticed during this time were weightloss, vivid dreams, poor short-term memory, anxiety(never anxious before), sudden and vivid recollection of very old memories, intensified fight or flight response and longer to get back down to the baseline as well as oddly stronger smelling urine.

I've been taking wellbutrin for almost 3 months now and I keep getting random chest pains. Is anyone else having weird side effects?
