Wellbutrin Xl Coupon Program Change. Anyone Else?

I've been using the coupon program to get my brand Wellbutrin XL 300mg for $100/month for the past couple years. This past refill in January the pharmacy said the coupon program had changed and if your insurance doesnt pay anything at all toward the rx, which mine doesnt, then the coupon wont either, making it full price if I want it. Anyone else having this problem?

The current coupon on the Wellbutrin XL manufacturer's savings site is only a copay savings coupon, it is not intended to help with the cost of the full prescription, and it is only intended to be used by each individual for 12 months.

Unfortunately, they are not obligated to offer coupons, at all, and many companies stop doing so, once a generic is available for the medication they manufacture. If your pharmacy accepts the coupon improperly, then they take a loss, which I am certain that their management will not like, so it's really out of their hands.

However, you could call the manufacturer at the number they list with the coupon to ask about it, perhaps they make exceptions, or have another program that will help you.

Does anyone else know of any other programs that might help?
