Watson 853 And Quality Assurance (Page 2)

I recently got a rx refill of white watsons imprint 853 on them and a few people have told me these are bad quality! They said if they break easily and taste like chalk they are counterfeit!? They made my dad real sick!

I don't understand how drug stores can push fake norco. Is it happening if a friend might give u a couple? I have these norco 853 white pills now. I'd hate to think im taking something harmful. Can someone let me know? As long as u get them from ur drug store, they're real right?? Plz help

I took two of the white Watson and after not experiencing the feeling I wanted. I checked the pill also noticing that they were now white. That led me to this page. After I took two more, now on 4, I started feeling what I needed but it wasn't strong. So does this possibly mean that they are extended release? Or am I just getting too use to pain killers. Also I am itchy on my face, ears and lower back more than normal.

There are a lot of fake Watson's and all pills going around. Everyone needs to be careful if they are not from the doctor. They are putting illicit drugs and fentanyl in them so it will come up as opiates but they don't control the amount in each one, so the wrong pill could kill you. Watch out for discoloration, jagged edges, and the printing of the numbers and symbols. Try to compare to real ones and if you don't have real ones then look them up online because it's not worth your life to gamble on a pill. Hope this helps people.

I took three of the things not knowing and it's something heavier than tabs. What's up with s*** these days? The rolls aren't real and the tabs are like rolls. Maybe I should just grow up and stop wasting my spare money on this kinda f***ery.

They are not fake, do you realize the litigation a billion dollar drug company would face. They have been altered by actavis taking out the yellow, dropping the quality of the hydrocodone, and even made them time release, all to halt abuse. You won't find the yellow watsons ever again. You either get the new white 853, or the m367 by mallinckrodt, and the best being the hard bright yellow qualitist with the v on the side. But the watsons are not fake or everyone would go into instant withdrawal and all docs office and pharmacies would be flooded and if someone got hurt or died, billions would be lost. I know they are not strong at all but they are unfortunately real.

You can tell they are bad if you look at the 3. If it's flat on the top it's no good. And they are not consistent inside of you break them. Another way to tell is to drop a half in water if it dissolves fast and has little white beads in the bottom of the cup they are fake. You can also tell by the taste if you know what they taste like.

How do you test a Watson 853 for quality assurance? At-home test? Can someone please show me a picture of a real one?

The pharmacy I use here in Knoxville Tn. gives out the Watson version, so when I complained they got a different brand and this one had M 356 on it. They were okay. The last script I filled they gave out Watson, may as well take an M & M for pain. Lots of posts complaining about the Watson 853 10 mg.

Yeah I'm having the same problem these white ones are actually smaller they're very soft and they're not crystally and I don't think there's anything we can do is there?

I also have these and they just don't look the same they're very soft and powdery as opposed to the other ones that are hard and they don't have the same effect they don't last they don't take away the pain I mean is there anything we can do with these 853 besides going to a pharmacist or the doctor I mean can they do anything besides change the scripts

These fake Lortabs y'all getting are more than likely potassium pills. People will use a press to get the print on there. That's the chalky taste comes from. I got some fake 853 one time and had some potassium pills laying around. They look just like that potassium pills exactly like them. The reason the edges crumble is from the press. People who getting them from the pharmacy I bet it's somebody who works there is trading them out for the real ones. Really can't trust people these days when it comes to anything anymore. Just look up white or yellow potassium pills see for yourself.

Wow! Thanks for that brilliant advise, OTB! You're right about the sparkle. When you shine a light on the broken piece it'll sparkle just a bit. I just had a tooth pulled and had to check the pills they prescribed. Glad to see they're real ;)

I agree with you and much of what you said. I would like to say that I had a discussion with my pharmacist who laughed at me when I told him that the Mallinckrodt pills did not help my pain at all and they make my stomach hurt real bad as if it's aspirin and not Tylenol! he popped off and said well should I try one and see? I looked at him horrified and said no absolutely not that's not what I'm suggesting! decided that it was no use to waste anymore time with him discussing this!
