After a few weeks on a 5mg/day warfarin schedule I developed daily headaches in a specific area on the left side of my head. When I consulted my cardiologist I was told that warfarin doesn't cause headaches. I had to continue taking the medication because I had 2 previous episodes of atrial flutter. I had just changed my primary care physician and mentioned the headaches. He for some reason decided to check my vitamin B12 level. It was too low. I started taking a 1000mcg tablet daily. My headaches started to occur less frequently with less pain within about three weeks and after 8 weeks were gone. Hope this helps someone. ## Vitamin deficiencies can cause various medical issues, anything from headaches, as you experienced, to nausea, weight changes, depression, dizziness, and sleep ...

When I got my rx filled, they were dispensed as benzo's. I refuse to take them until I find out more about them as I've never had pink benzo tablets before. One side has A at the top, then 338 underneath, the other side is a crescent moon (perhaps crescent brand?) with a R next to it? ## These are warfarin 1mg tablets in UK. These could be fatal i.e. bleed to death. ## Yes, that’s exactly it. ## Did you find out what they were? I've just found some and Idk what they are

Can someone please help me identify these pills? They are blue-speckled pills with an R and a thin crescent moon on one side and A 324 on the other with a score between the A and 324.... Thank you ## Hey I've got the same pills. They were marketed as 10mg Valium, however I don't trust them and rightly so as I can't for the life of me trace them. The closest I got from searching was that they are black market, so could have benzodiazepine in them or none at all. A pal of mine was willing to try one and he said he felt a short lived effect. His UDS came up positive for benzos but to be fair he did take a 20mg temazepam too. I know it's not much to go on. I don't recommend black market pills as you don't know how much of the active ingredient is in each pill. I'...

My chemist gave me adco-dol for pain relief. I use 10mg warfarin daily will there be any harm in using it together? ## Hello, Norman! How are you? There's a chance that it could also cause some additional blood thinning, so it would be best not to take it, until you check with your doctor. It also carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Im suffering with migranes is it safe to drink Adco- Dol while im using Wafarin 5mg daily ## can i take Piascledine capsules when taking Warfarin ## l i take adco dols with my Warfarin. Is anyone going through menopause and on warfarin? If so, what do you take and does it work? Many thanks ## I didn't find any interactions listed between Warfarin, and Black Cohosh, which helps many women with various perimenopause symptoms, including hot flashes. I've been taking it for mine for awhile, now, and it has really helped a lot, it also mostly eliminated my night sweats. While some places also suggest Soy Isoflavones as a helpful supplement, the FDA warns against taking it with Warfarin, since it can also cause increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. What types of symptoms have you been experiencing?

My mom was on coumadin for many years but then her insurance company told her she had to take warfarin as this is the one they would pay for. Is there really any different in these two drugs? It seems to me that she has been having more problems with the warfarin (keeping this medication at the right level) than the coumadin. I was told they were the same medications and do the same. I just wanted to know if some people have difficulties taking warfarin vs coumadin??? Thanks. ## No, they work exactly the same for me. I have been taking one or the other for 3 1/2 years because of 2 pulmonary embolisms. I take 10mg a day. At times I go up and down but have been steady for a couple months now on warfarin. Food will change the way it works. Salads and some other greens really mess things up...

I will see my doctor soon to get his input but wondering if I will experience any rebound or withdrawal effect ? I am also on lisinopril and Amdolopine will it affect these meds if and when I quit warfarin.. ## There can be a slight rebound if you suddenly stop taking any medication, including Warfarin, which is why it's very important to never stop taking something, without your doctor's approval and supervision. It likely should not affect your other medications. You can read more about this medication on MedlinePlus. What have you done for the nosebleed? Did you go to the E...

I found a pill and need to know what it is. Does a opioid 30 mg have 324 on it? ## Hi Chicky, After doing a lot of digging on the internet, I couldn't locate an exact match to your pill. Pretty much all of the closely related descriptions and images I saw were of oblong or capsule shaped pills. The lack of available information leads me to believe that your pill falls into either one of the following categories: discontinued, Illicit, over-the-counter, or of foreign origin. Is it something that could've been brought back from overseas? ## Warfarin 3mg is blue with same number on the front
