Where R Roxicodone 3o?

ITS SATURDAY, 4/9, AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO LOCATE THE ABOVE MEDS. OF COURSE I HAVE A SCRIPT AND INSURANCE, BUT AFTER ABOUT 25 VISITS TO LOCAL PHARMACIES, AND A TON OF CALLS TO NOT SO LOCAL PHARMACIES, I STILL CANT LOCATE ANY. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ANY AVAILABLE SUPPLY IN S, FLA? ID REALLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP WITH THIS. GOD BLESS..

As I understand it, roxicodone and vicodin are essentially the same medication. Why not have your doctor change your script to vicodin? Also, I do all of my refills at CVS. If they don't carry the med I need, they always order it for me.

Roxicodone and Vicodin are not the same. Roxicodone contains the active ingredient Oxycodone in a regular release formulation and Vicodin contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone.

They both contain narcotics, but different ones and the Vicodin also has the addition of the Acetaminophen.

Linda, I tried searching for pain management pharmacies in that area, but I really wasn't finding anything.

The only suggestion I can really make is to see if there are any pharmacies near you that are affiliated with a local hospital. Many people aren't aware that they even exist, but a lot of hospitals do have them, either in or near the hospital and they often carry a very large stock and broad range of medications.

As to calling the other pharmacies, it is likely that you didn't get an accurate answer from them. Some of them probably do carry it, but since they have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a prescription, or a possible thief, the answer is almost always no, over the phone, for controlled substance prescriptions. So many pharmacies have been robbed by people wanting these medications, that they have had no choice but to adopt certain policies to protect themselves.

Thus, the only way to get an accurate answer is to actually physically go to the pharmacy, with your prescription in hand and ask if they carry it. Even if you walk in and ask, but don't show them the actual prescription, you won't usually get an honest answer.
