Having problems finding this product. Has it been discontinued and if so, do you know why?

No luck finding visine LR in Ohio either. Been to every store...very frustrating. Is this anyway to treat loyal visine users? Love this stuff, its the only eye drop I can use.

Pittsburgh, PA- I have searched and searched for Visine LR without any luck. I called the company and they said its not discontinued, so where is it? Its the only Visine product that works on me. This is frustrating. I needed something so I bought the New Multi-Symptom Relief from Visine, but it doesnt work the way LR does. Bring LR back! This is ridiculous.

I live in So. CA and have not been able to find Visine LR for the past 2 weeks. I've checked every store near my house & work. It's the only eye drops that work for me & I've used it for years. I just bought Visine's new multi-symptom and it made my eyes burn and redder! I'm going to try to order it from drugstore.com unless someone else knows where I can get it. I'm desperate!

Same issue in Houston. I last bought Visine LR probably about a month ago after searching at just about every CVS and Walgreens in the area. Then yesterday, I went looking again and I can't find it anywhere. I tried Clear Eyes this morning and by 3:00 PM my eyes were all red again. Visine LR is the only product that works!

Received my online supply of Visine LR today...hopefully it will be enough to last until Visine will let stores stock it again.. Jeezz! If they want to discomtinue something, why not regular Visine and Visine Advanced?! Visine LR beats the pants off of BOTH of those for complete & lasting redness relief! Their new Multi-Symptom drops? Tried 'em (couldn't find LR at the time) ...NAAA!

This has been going on since late Dec. here in Kansas City. I have called Visine twice and told product is not discontinued. Have been to multiple CVS, Kmart, Walgreens, Walmarts ect.. and they all say product has been discontinued. Isn't it time SOMEBODY had a conference call? This is the last eye drop available with this active ingredient, the only one that works for me. I got 3 bottles off of Amazon in Jan., then when they arrived I went back for more and they were sold out. Today I was able to order a few more off drugstore.com. Hopefully enough to make it till Visine gets their act together.

John Says:

Typical screw the customer mentality. Since one product beats the pants of all the others you offer, take it off the market. If distribution is the problem why are all of the other products on shelf? Good job Visine.

Red in the Eye Says:

It doesnt make any sense. There is obviously tons of people who use this product, why take it off the market and not replace it with something comparable. Is Visine (Johnson & Johnson) being sued for this product? Its the only logical reason I can come up with of why its not on shelfs nationwide. We need answers!

Consumer Says:

I found out today that CVS still carries Visine LR, but the product has been delayed to the distributors. I had a CVS manager check for me. He told me that the product is on order at his CVS, but again, there is a distribution problem. I hope this information helps & encourages those of us who use this product.

Visine is screwing customers,I've called them at least a month ago, dumb bimbo I've spoke with said that she doesn't see anything about end of life on the product and said she can give me directions to Walgreens to go pick it up.Very disappointing and I don't think it's coming back.

I called Visine corporate, the woman said that it was still in production and they were having problems with distribution. Issues with distribution?? I asked her why don't they ship it out with their other products that seem to make it to the stores? She had no response. I think they've discontinued it and the new multi-symptom variety is supposed to replace it. Sad, it was such a great product.....and everyone was buying it!!!! (that is what's funny, if it was not moving, I could see them discontinuing it). Probably someone new in the company. They dropped it in order to show that something was being done in product development. Idiots....having to justify their positioins!

I am planning on calling the BBB to complain. I think everyone should boycott Visine products until they bring back LR. Also, has anyone found any drops from another mfg. that work at all?

Red Eye Love Says:

I'm in Denver and Visine LR is totally gone from every single store in the entire metro area, not even a tag on the shelves for it. I've seen three dozen responses here on this thread ... is anyone concerned about WHY it's not on shelves anymore??? If you don't buy into the distribution excuse -- you might start wondering about why it was discontinued, if that was the case. I say we all stay connected on this issue for further developments ... who really knows what we've been putting in our eyes (for years).
