Viberzi False Positive Drug Test
UpdatedI have been on 100mg of viberzi twice daily for about one month for IBS-D. I finally got to see a pain management person about pain subsequent to an on the job injury from 2011 being covered under workers comp. I take 0.5mg Xanax at night to help me sleep, as well as metoprolol for tachycardia, synthroid, estradiol, and topamax for migraine prophylaxis. I've been drug tested many times in the past on all these meds (except Viberzi) with no problem. Today the pain mngmt MD tells me I'm positive for tricyclic antidepressants which I do not take. He didn't discuss this with me further. I can't find any info about false positives with this drug. Any help is appreciated!
