It's peach and oblong with novox on one side and 75/mg on the other. I was wondering if it could be a generic brand of Vicodin? ## It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, the FDA warns that the side effects in a canine might be similar to those in human, so it could cause nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach irritation, which your dog might not be able to communicate, so it is best to keep a close eye on them. Child, are there any other markings on the tablet? I can't find anything ...

I have given her Profender to see if she has any parasites etc. She is extremely healthy, a beautiful coat, eating fine, loves fuss, likes to play she is 18 months old. Do you think she has a food intolerance, should I change her food to something better if so can you advise which food? Can you tell me if I can do anything myself try her on different things or give her anything that may clear it up? Thanks in advance.

Peach (or light orange) colored pill with PFIZER on one side and "100 MG" on the other side. ## I can't find any tablet listed that matches this description and marking. Where was it found? Can you provide a general location? At this time, I'm suspicious that it may be a foreign medication. Learn more prescription drug details here. Does anyone else recognize this? ## Oval-shaped would be better description - 5/8" long and 3/8" wide. Found on the floor of my house here in New Jersey (across the river from Philadelphia). I tried comparing it to medicines we have here in the house and could not match it. I, also, could find nothing on it in my Internet search. ## Sounds like zeniquin (dog/cat antiobiotic) ## Oblong peach colored pill with imprint 100 | MG on one si...

Our dog was diagnosed with bone cancer and given 6 months to live. The DR. prescribed 100 mg of RIMADYL for him. [sheep dog] 9 1/2 yrs and 50 mg of Tramadol. I also take Tramadol for back pain. The DR. just said to give him 2 RIMADYL A DAY and not to specific on the TRAMADOL 1 to 3 or 4 a day. I don't want to over medicate him or under medicate him. He isn't complaining at all yet. He is like one of our kids and wan't to give him as much pain free time he has left. How do we know when to give him more or less pills as time goes on, and is their any other substitute meds that doesn't cost $80.00 dollars as rimadyl does for a months worth of pills. Thank You ## Carol, to be quite honest with you, while I am very knowledgeable on the use of medications in humans and have ac...

looking for the name of an old-fashioned sulfur-based liquid for treating wounds. It is BRIGHT yellow, thick and oily. It separates into the oil and yellow part if left standing and has to be shaken well before use. Used to use it extensively for animals although it is not specifically a veterinary medicine. I bought some in a pharmacy a few years ago. It is used on any difficult to heal or infected wounds either under a dressing or just on and in the wound. It is not Betadine or any other similar modern product. This is an old product that is still available. It is a proper medical product produced by a medical company i.e. not a herbal, quack or traditional remedy. It is just an older product that isn't much used any more but still available. I'm trying to suggest it to a wildlif

I found some pills in my stepsons backpack that have an R on one side, on the other side there's the number 25 on top a score line and M6. What is this pill? ## I'm sorry, but I can't find any listings for this in our U.S. prescription drug resources. Did you try asking him what they are? Does anyone else recognize these? ## Ijust got that same pill for my dog as a pain medicine after surgery. It has an upper case R on one side, its square and a 25 on the other side with a scored line and MG below it. ## I have the same pill and it might be from the vet- doggie downers maybe. ## Did you find out what these were? The prescription dosage for my dog's meds is 2 to 3 tablets by mouth up to every 8 hours as needed for pain. The more I think about it, the more it confuses me. ## Wow, Chris! I can see why that would be confusing. I'll try to make it clear for you based on U.S. veterinary prescribing instructions, basically this means you can give your pup a maximum of 3 tablets, as maximum of 3 times a day, in doses 8 hours apart (but no more than 8 hours apart). Although it never hurts to double check with your vet, as I can only go by what you've typed in this post and have not seen the prescribing instructions myself. What medication was prescribed?

what schedual class is it? ## Hello, Blondie! How are you? I actually just found an identification for this, someone else asked about it recently, too. The reason it was hard to find is because this is actually a veterinary medicine. It is manufactured by Boehringer Ingelheim and they list it as containing Acepromazine. The FDA classifies this an an animal tranquilizer. Typical side effects may include drowsiness, dizziness and sedation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## What happens if a teenager took one? My vet will give a prescription, however, she cannot afford to lower the price of Torbutrol 5 mg. Right now I am paying $107.00 for 10 pills and my guy takes it twice sometimes 3 times a day, so I really need to get it cheaper. My husband is disabled and on the liver transplant list so I am already paying for medications that are horribly priced. Can anyone tell me where to find it cheaper? ## Hello, Jenny! How are you? I'm sorry that the medication is so expensive and about your husband's condition. I hope he gets his transplant very soon. As to getting it cheaper, have you tried any of the pet medication websites? I have a 12 lb chihuahua with an abscess from my dads senile dog biting her leg. I have no money right now for a vet. I do have smz-tmp da 800-160 mg tablets. I was wondering how much I should give her? Please help! ## Hello, Leah! How are you? Dogs can take this medication, generally, it's stated that they should be given 13mgs per pound of body weight every 24 hours and it usually works better if given twice a day, every 12 hours. However, this is a sulfa based medication, so its rate of allergic reactions it fairly high, so you really should not give it to her, without a veterinarian's approval. If you give it to her anyway and she suffers an allergic reaction, you could end up with a really huge vet bill. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, d...
