what's the difference between verapamil er and verelan pm ## Both of the drugs in question are one in the same, except the only difference being that Verapamil ER is an extended release version of Verelan PM. Additionally, there may be a slight variation of inactive ingredients (as they are different brands); but other than that you can be assured that they are the same drug, but one just lasts longer. To view information about this drug, please click on the link below... Do you have any more questions or information to add? Please post back if you do. ## This is not correct. Both of these formulations are extended release.

verelan ER PM

I have right renal artery stenosis and a mechanical aortic valve replacement. l Would like to know if veralan ER PM is safer to take than verapamil ER. Thank you so much for a reply. ## They are both the same thing, the Veralan is just a name brand for Verapamil. Thus, as to safety and the risk of side effects, the possible issues would be identical. Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor?
