I was operated one and a half year back for brain tumor and was advised to take valparin chrono 300mg in the morning and 500 mg in the evening for 2 years still I am taking this dose regularly. Now I want to know what would be the side effect of the medicine for consuming upto such a long period.

My husband is taking valaprine chrono 500 for the last 8 years - 2 times a day. He is on epileptic drugs last 20 years. He is suffering from lack of memory, general weakness, agitation, indecision which is hampering his professional life. His age is 42 and last seizure was 6 years back. He has to drive and he works for an MNC. Please suggest.
