Valparin 200 Side Effect

My son was suffering from fever. When he was playing suddenly his eyes were wide open for 4-5 minutues & his temperature was 102.5. We admitted him hospital & after fever treatment doctor advised EEG. Reason why it happened to my son? Is there any side effect of VALPARIN 200

A high fever can cause convulsions/seizures, even in adults and they are especially dangerous in children.

Valparin contains the active ingredient Valproic Acid, it is an anticonvulsant.

Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, weight gain and dizziness.
